3 Habits That Cause Belly Fat

It's really important to stress the need to avoid habits that are going to cause belly fat. If you continue these habits regularly, it's going to be a whole lot harder to get results in the long term and you will have much more of a struggle with it. Also consider your health would sky-rocket by avoiding these things and you'll have more energy!

  1. Consuming Trans Fatty Acids (TFA) - These are absolutely horrendous fats that are proven to both increase LDL cholesterol and decrease HDL. This is not good. If you can manage to kick this habit you will find it much easier to lose stomach fat. Foods containing TFAs include margarine, most processed foods and anything labeled with: "partially hydrogenated vegetable oils"
  2. Procrastination - The biggest problem that stops millions of people from moving forward with their lives is procrastination. Stop saying you'll do things and making plans to do things, just get it done! It's a particularly strong problem habit with exercise - no excuses, commit to a plan and do it. Get rid of this bad habit and you'll have a 1000% higher chance of losing belly fat fast.
  3. Choosing the "low carb" option - Low carbohydrate options are a relatively new invent on the marketing front of food and beverage manufacturers and despite the claims made about them supposedly helping you lose stomach fat, they are not going to do a whole lot of good often containing more calories than their "original" substitute products. Remember the general rule - the more that food is tampered with before you consume it, the more problems it is likely to have. These problems almost always result in giving up your 6 pack abs and marketers will never tell you this.
